Comment by James Hall on February 17, 2013 at 20:53 A few of us went up to race it and I was in awe of all the A, B and C lines over various obsticles - awesome work done by the local boys and girls.
It's definitely a race for pairs though as its about 2/3rds up to 1/3 down but that last km was awesome on the appropriately named "North Shore".
I would like to blame a broken spoke after hanging with the eventual 1st and 2nd place getters in the Masters Solo for the first 3 laps but truth be known I suck going up hill and it and the heat did me in to fall back to around 8th I think.
Some mates Marty and Brooke won the mixed pairs though with a fine showing despite Marty being a naughty boy and racing still suffering the effects of a concussed ride courtesy of Stromlo.
At $45 Solo, a bargin based race with technical trails to ride and awesome volunteers on the course. A lot smoother than Majura Steve (doesn't get as much traffic)
