Saved by Lady Berm

Wanted to say thank you to a lady cyclist who gave me a tube on Sunday during my training ride at Stromlo.

After the Capital Punishment this year in which I had tyre issues and dropped aprox 15min I finally got underway with a tube in my rear wheel and completed the race in 5:01. After the event I have been slack and didn’t fix up the rear tyre and return it to tubeless....... so out at Stromlo on the weekend managed to get 2 flats but only had one tube! So I was walking when a lady berm member and her friend gave me a new tube to get me home!

So lesson learned.

Thank you so much and I hope I can repay the favour one day.

What goes around etc. I've certainly had my share of assistance from strangers on bike tracks. :-)
