I think recently we've had demo days or at least demo bikes at events for Cannondale, Specialised, Trek and Giant. But I wasn't interested then. But now am. Does anyone know of any coming up?Continue

I don't really know how to start this, so I'll just start and see what happens... Will add more later, and photos.
1. Moving the Goalposts
Some time in the first half of the year, Nat raised the possibility of "maybe doing the Scott 24hr solo?". I grunted something along the lines of "awyeh?" or words to that effect, stuffed some more schnitzel in my gob, and didn't think much more of it other…

That's a fancy way of saying I can't ride for a while, like until April or so. Stupid doctor's stupid $#%# orders. Trouble is, they're right...
Anyway, just letting you know I haven't suddenly gone all antisocial or whatever. Capital Punishment, Willo Enduro, Mont, the CORC 3hr... all these things won't have me in them this year. NEXT YEAAAAR!!

it will be 4 laps of 12.5 km course - the original plan was for 2 laps of the 25 km loop but that meant opening & manning the 4 gates - pain in the bum- so I suggested to Bec that we run 12.5 km lap x 4 - no gates!
