The more I think about it, the more I realise I actually enjoyed it and have a sense of achievement from finishing my first 100km event (race time 6hrs 52 min, total time with GDE section 7hrs 19 min; 169th overall).

Wednesday evening loop around Sparrow Hill, 1.5 - 2 hours. Not particularly fast, but fast enough to get a little light training in.

"I've got Thule aerobars with thule proride 591 racks. Both wheels stay on the bike and the frame can be locked to the rack. High quality gear, can't fault it. Easy on, easy off and very stable."
