Toughest Enduros? Lies, Damned lies, and statistics.

After completing the James Williamson 75km and thinking that was tough, I then did the 100ker at Tathra, which rendered me dizzy, nauseated, and walking. So I wanted to figure out a way to compare enduros, and thought that the number of starters as a proportion of finishers could be a good indicator. I've completed three of the events below, and I think I agree with the positions of each.

Some of you may not know that the gate at the very highest corner of Majura has been open for some time. It has been closed for many years. This means one can not only punish oneself riding up the steep and slippery Mineshaft, but one can continue up through the gate and head left and get all the way to the fence at the radar station at the top of Majura without breaking your rhythm (ha!).
