BEING INVOLVED WITH TRAIL ADVOCACY ISN'T TREE HUGGING!

Despite Canberra's perceived status as Australia's MTB mecca, staging World Championships, the biggest 24 hour race in the Southern Hemisphere and having some of the best singletrack in Australia, our trails are constantly under threat.

This might be from erosion, where an extra pair of hands can help with maintenance of the tracks we ride; or from larger threats, such as the proposed Majura Parkway redevelopment which you can read all about HERE, and the rumours about how much the Kings Highway upgrade will degrade Sparrow Hill (rumours are no good - I need facts - another reason to centralise trail advocacy info folks!)

This group is to share information, ask for volunteers-either for trail maintenance or advocacy campaigns, or simply to learn about what's happening on the trail front.

NOTE: If you sign on to this group you will probably receive more mail than as a regular member of the Berm, but as you've joined the group it will all be of interest to you.
