Sparrow Hill MTB tracks -  15 Oct 2011

The underpass is connected & we have MTB access into Sparrow Hill again.  There are no marked loops at the moment, but we will have a marked loop of approx.  15 km in the next few weeks.  BIKES MUST USE THE UNDERPASS – DO NOT CROSS OVER THE ROAD – OR WE MAY LOSE ACCESS  !!

We will be advertising for volunteers shortly to help uncover the tracks which have been lost during forestry operations. There will be notices on the CORC home page, The Berm site & on the fence at the Sparrow Hill parking area.  This will be an opportunity for you to help restore Sparrow back to the great network that we all have enjoyed in the past. 

Over the next few months, the network will be expanded & hopefully we will get back to approx. 25 or 30 km of marked track – but this will only happen if we have help along the way.
