Comment by Lynne S on April 3, 2012 at 14:49 i have a spare, but i know my main light is going to die after and 1.5 hours max and don't fancy meeting the local wildlife with a dim back up light as my only protection.
Besides gives me a week to get reacquainted with my bike ;o)

Comment by Steve K on April 2, 2012 at 17:22 35 last year! That counts as mid-life if I'm only planning to live to 70 ;)
Hey you, bugger off, you are not old enough to be in here.........
Comment by Steve K on April 2, 2012 at 17:18 What's that Karl, plenty of Drop Bears in Ainslie? Yeah, we get about one casualty a week. :(
Kewl, there are plenty in Ainslie, Majura. Peter Taylor is still amazed when he sees them.......(he only moved here last year).
Comment by Lynne S on April 2, 2012 at 16:28 Dropped my mountain bike and my road bike off for a major service on saturday so hopefully get them back tomorrow.
I have yet to see any "live" kangaroos since i got here. the only ones i have seen have been stiff at the side of the road, which doesn't make for the nicest photo !
And I need to get my full fitness back so the guys will just have to bully me until then ;o(

You will love Majura then if you go, the boys wont be too hard on you :P
Jut watch out for Kangaroos on the way home, dont just look down the middle of the track, scan each side as the bugger come from nowhere somtimes. The trak on the way home is moslty fire trail & coming back down the hill we have cracked 50km/h.
I am sad I wont be there on Wednesday but I have to pick my brother in law up from Yaouk then we are heading to the Snow Goose Hotel in Adaminaby for a feed. They do a sensational steak sanger!!!!!
