Permalink Reply by Christopher Giuliano on July 23, 2011 at 19:29 Majura is in very good nick at the moment, but two notes:
1. Many of the trails have more pine needles than normal so cornering is a little slippery.
2. The little jump across the creek on Dew Drop In: there was a new log across the lip but no accompanying dirt which made the jump very rough. I removed the log. If the jump does not look how you remember it, inspect before jumping.
Heard a whisper that Majura was closed yesterday for Army exercises...does anyone know if it's open today? cheers
Permalink Reply by Christopher Giuliano on August 30, 2011 at 8:58 I rode nearly every trail last night and Majura is back to its dry old self. Obviously its popularity has waned as there are pine needles everywhere making for not-so-grippy-conditions - it just keeps you on your toes.
The original and still the best. Get out there while you can.
Permalink Reply by Pominoz on September 12, 2011 at 12:13 Rode around Majura with a couple of mates yesterday. Blitzed quite a few of the trails and all in reasonably good shape and 98% dry. Quite a few pine needles on some of the trails but keeps it exciting. Great morning riding.
Permalink Reply by Christopher Giuliano on November 11, 2011 at 21:25 Majura is pretty much puddle free. I did my usual loop and I didn't feel the need to drain anything.
No new trees down that I know of.
Grip is awesome. Git some!
