Sending messages to non-friends

Hi Morgan,

How do I send messages to people who are not on my friend list?

It seems that you have to have a friend request accepted before a message can be sent.

You got it in one dude - Morgan can confirm this but it's probably a limitation of the NING platform. But you can send a friend request and post a message on that intial request.

Ok, I thought there might be an option to change it in the settings that's all.

Oh Karl I forgot, you can also leave a message on someone's Comment Wall (on their profile) which if they've kept their original settings they'll be notified of via an email, so that's another way you can communicate.

Not quite so private though as comments are able to be seen by all if they look at the person's profile.

Yah, its all worked out for the moment but as you say everybody can see the comments on their wall. Its the only forum that I have used that operates like this. I dont mean to be critical when I say this, just passing comment.
