Hi guys,
On Wednesday the 29th of February, along with Kylie Webb, I will be conducting a Marathon MTB seminar for all of those who are interested.
With the Marathon season just about upon us, I wanted to provide specific details of the key points to executing a successful race. It doesn't matter if you are new to the marathon racing format or a seasoned competitor, there should be something that you can take away in order to make your racing a more positive experience.
All Welcome!!
This will be an interactive event. Remember, there are no dumb questions!! Also, there will be no dumb answers either! We'll get you sorted so that you can achieve your objectives, whatever they may be.
Location: Lonsdale Street Cyclery - 5 Lonsdale Street Braddon, Canberra.
Date: Wednesday 29th February
Time:7pm
Marathon MTB racing is generally in the format of a point to point event over varying distances. usually 50km and 100km options are offered. A great example of a classic marathon in the local region is the Capital Punishment.

Permalink Reply by Argonut on February 29, 2012 at 21:36 Big shout out to James and Kylie for delivering, and Trevor for facilitating, a great info session!
Nice work guys - I know my next races are going to be that much better with the tips and I'm sure others got the same benefit from this session.
Cheers!
Permalink Reply by Andy on March 1, 2012 at 9:17 Thanks to James, Kylie and Trev for organising this. I expected it to be like other free events that I have been to where the time would be short and have many references to the shop organising. This couldn't be further from the truth - 2.5 hours and no pushing LSC or brands, just honest and insightful information.
Thank you
