I used to ride at Greenleigh a lot, even did a couple of CORC races there way back when.
I went out there recently for the first time in a couple of years but found that it's getting pretty overgrown and there isn't much sign of regular use. It's a pity really because I think it's got some of the best tracks in the area.
Was just wondering why no one rides there any more?

Are you talking about the Jumping Creek area?
Where is this Greenleigh you speak of?
Permalink Reply by john on February 9, 2012 at 13:13 Hi John,
never heard of it till now. I would be quite interested to hear any other info if you can remember? Such as, where the tailhead is, how many km's of trails, terrain, difficulty etc. Oh, and the big one for the moment, how is it in the wet?
Cheers
Cameron

Additionally, there is a basic section of Jerra trails begin just up the hill from here and head south around the eastern flanks of Mt Jerra to Edwin Parkway and across to the Jerra trails propper.
Permalink Reply by James Blair on March 14, 2012 at 11:18 There are quite a few trails around the bottom of Mt Jerra, if you know where to go, you can do a full loop of the hill that's 90% single track (~5km). That's on top of all the trails over the southern side of the new road.
There are still remnants of the old greenleigh club course combined with moto tracks down around the jumping creek area. Mind you I haven't been for 9 months or so. You can get to it from the back of greenleigh, woodman pl etc, then head across the clearing at jumping creek and into the trees on the southerrn side.
