Hey all , just wanted an opinion on my front tyre for the weekend .
My Anthem had until very recently a front Kenda Nevagal And I have changed it to a Kenda Small Block Eight , both tubeless . The theory behind changing to the Eight is less rolling resistance in dry conditions .... But it may be damp ???
.... Ok there is a question ....
Being at the tail end of the 100 k field , and my first 100k race , is it worth risking a lack of grip if it's wet ? Or would less rolling resistance over the full course be worth it ??? :-/

Get your pit crew to meet you in a strategic location and you can do a quick change in the middle ala V8 Supercars!!!

The truth is all tyres suffer with lack of grip in the wet bar none.... run the small block. If it was a downhill event tyre choice is critical in the wet but not for a marathon. You want to stick with what you know change nothing so you don’t introduce reliability issues.

Thanks moon boy , I will look out for you at at Majura with the spanners . ;-)

Thanks Mark , looks like the Small Block stays
I agree with Mark, last year people were all over the shop no matter what they were running and come the fire trails if it is dry you are going to love that small block.
