During all the downhill/fast bits I was trying to figure out whether it was actually that dusty or just an effect of the light. Ended up convincing myself it was really dusty to the point where I could taste the damn stuff, but in the morning light the bike was hardly dusty at all!

Nat your spirit was there along with the spirit of the laying down sheep and the echidna pretending it was rock on sideshow.

most enjoyable evening highlight was definately the moment of sheer terror entering a dust cloud at speed and realising i could no longer see the trail or the rider in front.
