Comment by Ben Hudson on February 4, 2013 at 21:26: He got a flat tyre about 50 meters into the start of the race. he was at the top of the first fire road when we all went past. The whole field was infront of him so he decided that instead of dealing with the traffic jam he would just skip the first half of lap 1 and jump back in with the A graders to push them alone abit. He told the timing tent that he DNF and enjoyed the rest of the race wich I thought was a pretty fair call.

Sonja, you did all that work to get past Nigel and that other kid & then you bombed it taking the wrong turn!!!

I had fun giving everybody heaps, makes the time go faster for me and hopefully picks people up when they go past.
