Basics are, you ride in grades - D =2 laps, C =3 laps, B=4 and A =5.

Cost is $5 per race, you'll need your MTBA card or a day licence for $20.

There's kids racing at 6:00, U9, U11 & U15 - most courses will take balance bikes but be prepared to walk around too.

Rego at 5:30, Racing at 6:00

The cycle city Facebook site post every Thursday about lunch time to confirm where. This is late notice but the most accurate place to check where it will be. I am pretty sure the Berm still says Majura but I am pretty sure it won't be there since now it is a building site.

Comment by Sonia on February 15, 2013 at 12:09: It is good to have updates on the Berm and we know the two sites aren't related... but since the Crtis are run by CORC, one would assume that the info on the CORC website would be reliable? Anyway, it doesn't matter now but just to ensure that there isn't confusion in the future it would be good to know which source to be relying on. I'll rely on the Berm info from now on :-)

Comment by Kris on February 15, 2013 at 9:27: The entries listed on The Berm site are based on the original details issued by Cycle City. They advised last week that the venue for last night was at Isaacs, so The Berm site was updated accordingly.

Keep in mind that CORC and The Berm aren't related entities, so updates can only reflect the correct information at that time.

I'm having issues accessing the new CORC site with details, as the organisers of the crits only update the Facebook page, hopefully these issues will be sorted soon and I'll be able to make updates.

Comment by Sonia on February 15, 2013 at 9:15: There seems to be a bit of a disconnect between the Venue listed on the CORC website and the Berm. If you have a look on the CORC Events Calender for last night and next week the location of the crits is at Stromlo. Yet on the Berm it says it is being held at Isaacs/Majura. Can someone please make sure that the correct venue is listed on both websites? Lots of families and kids, including myself were out at Stromlo last night for the crits - as advertised on the CORC website, yet it turns out that they were at Isaacs. There were alot of upset kids...... (and miffed parents).
